Let us thank God, our heavenly Father, for the gift and blessing of the KJV and for the opportunity to read God’s Holy and inspired word for all mankind in our own language. May all English speaking people everywhere read the Bible, make personal application, and heed and obey God’s commands! Let us be careful to give God the praise, honor, and glory and not worship the creature (the thing created) more than the Creator, who is blessed forever (Romans 1:25)!

I’ve been praying for King James 400th events for a couple of years. I’m glad to see our leaders are recognizing the Authorised Version for it’s significance to our country and to mankind. May God get the glory as He continues to shine His light of mercy on these United States of America and use His Holy Word, the King James Bible.

I commend Reps. Aderholt and Rahal for this piece of legislation that gives glory to Almighty God and brings a segment of the population’s attention to some facts that bear repeating, especially now.
